How to Get Ten Years Fly Fishing Experience
In a Short Time!

[ADSENSE_0000000483]Here is the simplest way to
knock off at least ten years off the learning process in fly
fishing and to do it very quickly. In fact, the limestone
spring creeks will shorten the learning curve even more if you
follow this advice yet few people will and to this day I don't
know why. It's so simple some of you may say ....that can't
work. I never saw anybody else doing that. Yes, that's right
few fly anglers will and if you try you'll wonder why you never
did it before. Go get yourself a small pair of ultra light
binoculars. They don't have to be very expensive. Now head out
to Big Spring or the Letort and carefully walk up and down the
stream using your new toy. What you will see will amaze you.
First you'll realize how spooky the fish are. Next you'll see
things going on just above and below the water you'll never see
without the lenses!
You'll see the interface between the stream and
air. In that interface you see midges, and insects and
interactions that you never knew were going on. You'll see
insects emerging and adults coming back to lay their eggs.
You'll see tons of stuff on the surface of the water that
basically looked clear to you. You'll see trout opening their
mouths and taking things in that you never saw before.
Do this for a few days off and on and you'll
learn more about fly fishing and the stream than you ever
thought possible. Your imagination will fill with new ways of
looking at things on the stream. In fact, I often carry a small
pair of binoculars in my fishing vest or a monocular to use.
You'll see rise forms and how the fish take the fly that you
can't see with the naked eye. It will amaze you but it will
teach you things most fly anglers take a life time to observe
otherwise. Try it..you won't believe what it does to your
understanding of the stream and fly fishing.
